I have loved photography for as long as I can remember; I have heard a photographer being called "an impatient artist", which I find to be rather apt.

My love for photography led me to study it briefly straight out of high school, but I found that my passion for it was somehow suffocated in the process. For six years, I worked in the retail industry - unhappy and unfulfilled.

In 2016, on a pure whim, I entered the Yuri Arcurs bootcamp program after having barely picked up my camera in those six years. And like a lightbulb being turned on, I rediscovered my love for photography. Suddenly, a career seemed possible again. I placed second out of the 100+ participants of the bootcamp, and won myself a spot in the internship at Yuri Arcurs Productions. Little did I know what kind of crash course was waiting for me! I learned more with Yuri within the first 6 months than I had ever learned before.

 

Two years, blood, sweat and tears and infinite hours of hard work later, here I am today following my dream that for so long seemed out of reach.
